Emerging ICT for Citizens’ Veillance

In ubiquitous surveillance societies, individuals are observed and controlled by
authorities, institutions, and others. Some participatory approaches involve citizens
contributing their techknowledge to their own surveillance. Moreover, the watched are also observing the watchers through souveillant activities, often aiming to control the kind of knowledge that is produced and whether powers are implemented within legitimate limits.
